Just cleared the bonus. 2,200 hands, +111 BB @.5/1

Unfortunately, that lowered my win rate /images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Lost ~$75 at 2/4, then grinded my way back multi-tabling .50/1 stud, HE, and OHL tables. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I cleared it in a day on the $25 nl tables and made about $150 in the process.

I lost 94BB playing 222 raked hands. Worst consecutive run of bad beats I've ever seen.

Aces full--he rivers his fourth 2.
TPTK he's got raggety two pair.
Flopped top set-he flopped the nut straight.
And overcards all around on the river every hand.

It was truly amazing. Something like a -33BB/100 rate.

However that merely brought me down to 4.75 BB/100 over the last 2k hands. And my 18BB/100 win rate in one 500 hand shot at the 1/2 level helps too. I'm logging on now--lets see if I can pull out of this nosedive.

The whole point of clearing bonuses is safe, easy money. And unless you were playing $1000 sit n gos I bet it took longer than 7 hours.

Have I mentioned that I'm going to hit the 5/10 6-max tables for a little while?

I am close to clearing 100$ up 22 BB. I started 48 BB down after 200 hands. I misplayed a couple of hands where I went to the cap on the turn and the river wasting about 20 BB.

Cleared the $200 bonus playing 4 tables of 2/4. Just finished up 100BB. Not great, but not too bad considering I was down 75BB halfway through.

Yeah I've only played about 30-35k hands. I've had a few sessions putting those beats on others but never had them all put on see so consecutively. Last night I got in another 200 raked and held even so its over...for now.

1,710 hands, +208.98 at 1/2 6max for 6.11BB/100. Was at 12BB/100 for quite a while, but the swings got to me at the end of my session.

Honestly, what's your point?

I bet it took longer than 7 hours.

You're right. It took about 10.5 hours.

Hmm, your name did seem familiar on the table last night. Now I wonder though if folding my open ender to your turn reraise with 3 suited on the board was a good idea. 2+2er are known bluffers!

Deposited on Sunday, becuase in addition to the bonus had a jacket waiting for me for just 600 hands. Figured jacket+bonus was worth a marathon two days (for me that is). So cleared 650 since sunday night and I am exhausted - most poker I have played in a one day stretch and frankly dont know how you guys do 1000+ hands a day. Think I am up about 40 BB during the run.

I suck. Lost probably 20-30 BB multitabling 1-2 HE, and 2-4 or 3-6 Omaha. There were a few suckouts here and there, but mainly I was pushing AK unimproved too hard. Luckly, I still made money with the bonus.

The whole point of playing poker is to maximize your hourly earn rate. Bonuses usually are but might not be the best way to get there.

And I didn't do the bonus and got 136 in rakeback for those 1400 hands. This 200 one was almost worth the hassle, but not quite.

Lost 75BB at 2/4 clearing it. I think it's more than variance though. I need to re-examine my play. I think I need to bring back some of my weaker side, instead of just assuming that "they probably don't have an Ace" and crap like that. At least the bonus made the -75BB hurt less.

Cleared part of it at .5/1, was up 30 BB in 500 hands. Jumped to 1/2, I'm up 60 BB there in 500 hands. Played 650 raked hands and I'm up 75 1/2 BB. Should have it done by Thursday, hopefully with some hefty profit intact.

Finished up 33BB, which I'm pretty happy with considering that I was down 50BB about halfway through.

1765 hands +94 BB at Party Full 1/2, 4 tabling took a little under 8 hours.

Would have been higher, but I misclicked fold instead of call when faced with a turn reraise I had decided to call down. He flashed Kings, I had Aces. Lost a >20BB pot there. I don't know how others can do 8 tables, I do ok with 4, but cannot imagine doubling the load.

I've done 8 before, and I can't really handle it. I can do 6 no problem but I get tired of it, since I can't do anything else, personally.

4 tables the 25$ PL games. Lets just say I usually 2-table everything, so once i hit that 3rd hour i started getting antsy. I was up about 100$ (200BB) in the first half, then lost almost all of it back and ended up +15$. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm not sure since I made a couple of flushes and straights that night. I am "usually" not empty-bluffing a 3-suited board but still I am bluffing way too much. As I said above I had a bad short stretch, where I mindlessly spewed chips while feeling fatigue and being overmatched with 3-tabling. I guess I should stick to two tables and take a break every two hours to regroup. A lot of people here 4-table or even more. I am too old for that (40+).

LOL, that is often also my line of thinking. Last night I pushed middle pair way too often (and way too far) and was mercilessly called own.

I completed the bonus in 3 sessions of 4-table .50/1 within a day.

-First session I ended up +19BB

-Second session: -95BB (Bad Beat Central, Inc. A division of Suckout Corp.)

-Third and final session: +144BB (Does this mean I can play in the WPT now?)

For a profit of +68BB, excluding bonus.

Just finished clearing the bonus. 1,677 hands at 16.23bb/100 - went on a absolutely sickening tear after I made the deposit. Please tell me that rate is sustainable. (should I make a post in the Texas Hold Em forum asking this question lol?)

Gotta love poker when you make a boat with 26o and have TWO players call your RERAISE on the RIVER at $15/$30!

Was up about 7.5k during the bonus earning period but I couldn't wait to get that extra $200 "free" lol. Good times... first bonus I chased in a long time.

Please say you got a free ride from the BB. I'd call your reraise too if the only hand that beat me was 26o.
