Villain is the same guy in both hands. VPIP 39, PFR 4 over 23 hands.

I think this one is pretty straightforward, but I thought I would ask if anyone bets this turn?

Should I have bet the river? The only hands I can put him on are a worse K, or a 6 or 9, along with a flush draw. All of these beat me, other than the K, so I think a check is in order. Thoughts? Thanks for the responses.

Hand 1:
Nicely done. I'll bet Villain made a straight, and you saved yourself a bet on the turn. Then, when you make your boat, you gain an extra bet because he bets into you.

Hand 2:
I bet the river for value, here. There are a number of other hands you're forgetting that the villain might hold (Middle pocket pairs...K,Q ...A,x ..... he could just be defending his blind with a mediocre hand here.)

If villain had a "6," he'd likely to check-raise you on the turn - not bet into you.

If the hero has a "9" or a flush, I don't think he'd risk having the river checked through... seeing as the "9" and the "heart" are both scare cards for anyone...

I think you're good here (but, as always, I could be wrong).

Just my thoughts....
