Hopefully this won't bump any interesting posts off the front page, but I didn't want anyone to think I'd given up on my Small Stakes Quest after just 4 days. I'm clearing the Party bonus at .5/1 tables, so I haven't been playing any 2/4.

The quest should resume tomorrow-ish; at which point I will begin posting hands again.

End transmission.

Not to re-bump, but why are you clearing at .5/1 instead of 2/4?

I like clearing bonuses at .5/1 because it takes the pressure off.

If I'm at 2/4 and I start to have a downslide while I'm working on a bonus, it affects my game psychologically.

Plus, I make more money at .5/1 than 2/4 anyway /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Hmmm... that's certainly the case with me. After last night's -35BB session, maybe I should do that as well.

Yeah, it's a little messed up that after 24K hands at .5/1 and 14K hands at 2/4 I'm making 6.8 times as much at .5/1.

And no, I'm not talking BB/100... I'm talking $$$$$$!

My BB/100 is a mere 27x higher.

Now that this thread is thoroughly hijacked...

It could be worse. You could be making 20 times more at .5/1 than 2/4 over the same number of hands. And then your BB/100 could be, oh, say, 80 times higher.

Not that I know anyone with stats like that or anything...

After having to fold 3 sets before the SD last night, I thought I was going to pull my hair out! Fortunately, I got lucky enough at the end of the session to end up +30BB (and only 100 hands away from the bonus!).
