NL25 & NL50: Help me

Assuming I'm a winning player, tight & aggressive, blah blah blah...

With a starting roll of $1000, playing at Party NL25, how long should it take me to earn $500 if I play 2-3 tables? Basically, I'm aiming to win 20 buy-ins.

For the NL50, how long should it take me to earn $1500? Basically, 30 buy-ins.

I'm starting over from scratch after a horrible year in Jan 2005 and would like to start from the bottom and grind my way up. Here's how long I think it would take me to make the $ I'm aiming for...

NL25: Goal +$500 = 2 weeks ($36/day) too little/much?

NL50: Goal +$1500 = 3 weeks ($72/day) too little/much?

I plan on playing 15-20 hrs/week.

Thoughts, comments, anything?

Based on your assumptions, those seem like reasonable goals. I'll spare you the, "it depends on etc, etc, etc". As a rough goal based on your expectations of playing time, yes, that timeframe seems reasonable.

Agreed. At 6bb/100 for 3 tables of 6max and 20 hours a week, you'll make $500 in two weeks playing $25nl.
