I often hear good players complaining about jacks, I want to know from a good player why are jacks so complicated.

omg are you talking about limit/no limit, full ring game/short handed, what limits, loose/tight aggressive/ passive, live or online. Please be more specific no one is going to do a run down of every difficult situation you can get into with jacks.

The biggest is problem with JJ is that it's a "big pair" but very likely to see an overcard on the flop. In addition, on a T high board, it is very easy to think that you have by far the very best of it when you forget the possibility of bigger overpairs being out there. The problem with JJ is that it looks a lot better than it realistically turns out to be in play.

I don't think I'm a good player(especially NL) but I'll answer anyway(even though I don't know if it's regarding a tournament or ring game).
Like PoBoy said, the trouble comes when your raise gets called preflop(sometimes by 2opponents) and then an overcard flops(or 2, or 3). What do you do with JJ after the flop comes Q 8 3? Folding to a bet(raise) 100% of the time is clearly wrong and so is calling 100% of the time.
