Hi - first visit to this site. I'm a law student with a brand new hold'em table trying to start a weekly home game in Charlottesville, Virginia (central VA, hour west of Richmond, 2 hrs south of DC).
I'm looking for two things: (1) to generate interest in my game and (2) to see if there are already area games who need new blood (Charlottesville, Richmond, even northern VA).
As for (1), I have some folks here interested, but I'm looking for a regular base of 12-15 people who could keep the game going. I'd play 3-6 hold'em with the occasional tournament, but it might wind up being 2-4 unless I can get some interest from outside (i.e., you) folks. No set day yet, but Thursday starting at 7pm (thru all night) looks promising so that weekend trips to AC are preserved.
