My adoring fans may be interested to know that I am planning trips to the Borgata and Foxwoods to see if I can keep my streak intact (I've never had a winning trip to a poker room other than Canterbury). Sketchy details in the B&M forum.

Hey, good luck. If you're at Foxwoods on a weekend and see someone under 40 playing 5/10, come say hi.

Andy, this is great news. I was actually gonna drop you a PM to see if you'd be heading to Foxwoods over the holidays. Please let me/us know when you will be at Foxwoods. I wanna put a hurtin' on you. /images/graemlins/cool.gif

It will probably be in the Tuesday-Thursday time frame during the week between Christmas and New Year's. I wasn't planning on playing $1-3, though. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Why, cause they have an ante now? Too much action for ya?

I am harboring delusions about getting pumped up for Tunica. $1-3 ain't gonna cut it.

I may just go there, see how it looks, and if I don't like it, hit the Trop.

What's the status on this? I'm thinking about monday or tuesday. Weather may force me to go on tuesday. I have a strong feeling people are blowing their xmas $$ at the tables.

Is anyone else going to be at Foxwoods on Mon. or Tues?

I'm rolling up to Connecticut tomorrow (Monday). I'll be staying with my sister, and several of her friends have been talking about taking a trip to the Mohegan Sun on Tuesday, so that will probably be the day, although I'll be traveling separately, because apparently they don't do fourteen-hour sessions....I'll post something more definitive tomorrow.

I actually found myself at three different casinos in AC. I decided to hit the Trop first to check out their $15/30/45 stud/8 game. It was a good game, although I started playing like a monkey after a while, paying off successive $45 bets when I didn't have to. I never did get used to the $45 rounds. That game fizzled out early, so I headed down to the Taj. Didn't care for it, so I went to the Borgata. Played some small NLHE and a bad $10/20 HE game. I think I lost something like $100 for the trip, which included $13 for parking. The Borgata would probably do well to collect their $5 before you park. I know I've lost everything in my pocket at a casino a time or twelve. Highlight of the trip was the outfits on the cocktail waitresses at the Borgata. Holy f'in wow, Batman. I liked the Trop and the Borgata, but Canterbury Park is still the nicest place to play that I've been to, and I say this as someone who is sick of limit hold'em.

Those outfits rank somewhere in between rolled up kings and rolled up aces.

It looks like I'll be seeing you on Tues. Weather up here is brutal.

Is it bad that my wife is interested in meeting Andy B, stud of the stud forum?

I'm going to Foxwoods tomorrow (Tuesday). I reserve the right to go another day or two. Hope to see some of you there.

I've lived in Minnesota for 13 years. I think your definition of "brutal" and mine are probably somewhat different. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

My sister in law lives in St Paul. she said it was like -9F the other day. That pretty brutal not north slope brutal but pretty frickin chilly never the less.
