Last night my home game crew had a small Omaha NL tourney, followed by the regular Dealer's Choice game. I had to go out to dinner so I didn't play the tourney, but I dealt the first few orbits until I had to go.
In the first orbit there were three hands with quads!
After I left, they had another quad hand during the tourney.
I came back to join the cash game, and holding A-7-2-2, flopped 3-2-2. There was a flopped boat, and a turned straight out there, so I get very well paid off (I don't know what the guy with the straight was thinking!).
I've never seen anything like it. But it gives a good anecdotal rebuttal to all those posts about this or that sequence in online 'proving' that it's rigged. People seem so much more ready to believe an anecdote than mathematics anyway!
