No Escaping Hold'em

I have played all the major variants of poker for various stakes.

However, despite my love of things non-Hold'em there seems to be no escaping the fact that the softest games are Hold'em because of its enormous exposure.

I am indeed fortunate to have a couple of decent-sized stud/8 games in my area. I'm tired of limit hold'em, and my expectation is much higher in the stud/8 games. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

everyone knows that the holdem games are going to be the best right now but i think that the advantage a good player has in stud8 games outwieghs the fact that the opponents are going to be a little better.
