A friend of mine has offered lessons for a fee. He has shown me that he has been on leaderboard, which I guess means he is pretty gd, but reading through this forum I see that some people can somehow track others and was wondering if anyone has anything on my friend- bpdatl - that could serve as a reference.

LOL. Wouldn't a true "friend" offer to teach you the game for free? What can he possibly teach you - unless he's a seasoned pro - that you couldn't learn yourself by reading some books and playing some low stakes games online? Save your money!
