View Full Version : Wild-card games - probability calculations?

A home game I used to play in all the time (alas, I just moved) was wild about wild card games. I had my own conclusions about good starting hands, but I'd love to find a software program or other means for calculating, however crudely, what the median winning hand is etc. I boned up on probability math for a while--permutations, combinations, etc.--but never got around to calculating median hands for a game like Woolworth's (hi-lo 7-stud, 5s and 10s wild, no bike for the low). Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
