I thought this was kind of funny it was on the Fortune Lounge website. They must have been doing some serious bonus whoring. I hope they dont add 2+2ers to the list.

Danish and Israeli Players

Danish and Israeli players are always welcome at our casinos, but owing to severe ongoing abuse of promotional offers, by players emanating from Denmark and Israel, we have no choice but to exclude all Danish and Israeli residents from the Players Club.

they are usually banned from most casinos OR they have like triple the WR.

I believe the Dane's are banned because there was a TV show in Denmark showing how to exploit the online casino's bonuses. Casino whoring basically.

We Danes are bad bad people!

But as long as the poker sites doesn't get that same censored censored censored idea, I'm fine.

Yet wasn't Great Britain was a better place when the Danes were in control (10th century)? /images/graemlins/wink.gif

That's exactly it.

If they could the casinos would ban everyone from BW and 2+2 as well, but we are harder to identify in the wild.

Since I've never casino whored before, how does one "abuse" the promotional offers?

Basically, wagering the minimum necessary for the bonus and cashing out it considered "abuse". They all put some vague language in their T&C that the bonus is intended only to encourage players to play more but may be suspended if the player "abuses" the system by showing no intention of playing beyond the bonus. Basically, if you whore, we ban you.

Some enforce it, some don't. Some let you slide for a few months before supending your bonus privleges.

7Sultans does. They are a member of Fortune Lounge. Funny enough, the poker site makes no mention of Israelis, just Danes...

A lot of sites have restrictions like these. The countries aren't always the same ones. One I saw recently denied bonuses to people from China.

P.S. The Danes are welcome to invade the U.S. as long as they bring plenty of Carlsberg Elephant.

WHAT?!?!?! That's exactly what I do for poker sites. Hit and run the bonus on sites that I don't play often. Geez, if they want people to play longer, then they should just increase the bonus requirements. This is really silly. Suspend people for following the letter of the law.

Raising the WR, restricting BJ, or simply discontinuing the bonus is definitely the far more common casino reaction.

I'd rather have the Westmalle Dubbel that's in his avatar. Looks delicious.

Hit and run whoring doesn't have nearly the negative affect on poker sites that it does on casino sites. Hence the different levels of tolerance.
