I liked this and it so deviates from my usual agression I thought i'd post it.

I think you have to raise this flop. You can cut every else's odds enough to fold two overcards here on this flop.

You also have an over pair with a monster draw. You gotta raise this flop somewhere, my choice would be your first chance.

You feel that bad about an OESD? I mean it's one card and all- but it's the right one card. I'm seeing this river.

I raise this flop too with a monster draw and an overpair. If you show this aggression on the flop and still face a bet and raise, then I'd say it's a decent fold. One could argue for trying to hit the straight, the problem is you could be dominated by QJ with that turn raise. I could call the river for one bet, but probably fold to two.

Not raising the flop is awful.

egad man, raise the flop. Not raising serves zero purpose. Why let some tool with a naked queen see the turn? OR let the retard with a 7 draw to the ignorant end?

I plan to call and pop the turn, really that bad?

That is a better plan IMO if you hold AA and wish to wait to make sure it's a "safe" card while charging draws 2BB's and odds cut in half.

I would always raise on that flop. Given that you didn't, I would have call-reraised after everyone called the raise and it came back one more bet to me.

BTW I think I have to see the river too in this hand, given it's a big pot and you hold two of the jacks. I think folding if you only hold one of the jacks is ok since it's more likely you will chop when you hit a straight, but I can't do it if I hold two of them.

Oh yeah and to add:

Getting 3-bet on the turn really sucks since you have to see a river... Raising on the flop gives you two more chances to catch up if you're behind; raising on the turn if behind only leaves you one more chance while paying double the money.

Your turn raise might be destroying your odds.
