went to do the carnival casino bonus and failed to notice that it was a sticky bonus, and now it seems i destroyed a good chunk of my bankroll. i now have 1400 dollars in the account and i deposited a 1k to get 777 worth of bonuses. looks like failing to read the small print cost me like 300 dollars, great. anyways, ive already cleared the whole thing, should i just cut my losses and take it all out or should i try to double with a little sticky bonus strategy?

I'm not familiar with this casino, but obviously using a sticky bonus strategy would be +EV. If you are not properly bankrolled you might consider avoiding it, although you shouldn't be playing these casinos in the first place.

I always hear people talking about it, but never see it explained.

What exactly is a "sticky" casino and/or bonus? What makes it different from a normal casino bonus

"Sticky" means that the bonus amount will be removed from you balance once you withdraw money from your account.

Always read the fine print. I'm guessing the WR is only like 8 times D+B, which should immediately set off warning bells. Anyway, all is not lost. You can still get back to 1777 and cashout even. You could bet 377 on the first hand and if you lose that, bet the house max until you either bust or get close again. Another way might be to bet half of 377, using a martingdale progression if you lose the first bet. I'm not sure what method will give you the highest probability of reaching 1777, but you still stand a decent chance. If you really want some good suggestions, hit up Jay or Izverg in the bonuswhores forums.
