View Full Version : Opponent's bet says "raise me please". I oblige.

I don't like to bluff too much at the $6 level. His weak bet on the turn screamed "raise me", and then he took a while to think about calling on the turn so I fired another barrel on the river, putting him all in bar 1 chip. Perhaps I should fold the flop, but it was only 50! These micro bets could be suspicious as well. I never know when they truly show weakness, and when they are traps.

He has 88, 99, or 10 10 for the made set, and calls with all 3.

What draw did you think he had missed to bet this river?

None. I thought he was scared of the Ace, however. If I thought he had a missed draw I would check behind as I could have the bets hand.

The point I'm driving at is that if he's scared of the ace, he folds the turn.

Edit: Note: This doesn't mean I think he has the ace, but he's not taking your representation on board.

Agreed, thats why I am putting him on some crazy under pair, that he calls with on the end (because he already called a large bet on the turn).

He folded.
