Yeah, make the call and see what happens.

The reason why I hate the raise is because getting 3-bet really sucks and you'll still have to call with odds.

If you had a read that he was passive postflop than maybe you could make a play for the free card but too often you'll get three bet or stop and go'd like what happened here.
