Button is very Passive, limped with JJ in late position, then just called a raise.

Pokertracker has BB as a LAG; VP$IP 30%, PFR 15%, total aggression of 1.5. I've only got 30 hands on him though, so those stats aren't very concrete, and I don't particularly remember him from the table.

It sucks but I don't see what else you can do.

Yea, that's what I thought when I looked it over. I was hoping there was another way to play this one though, because playing it this way sucked.

I played a KQo hand a little while ago with an identical board and the Q /images/graemlins/heart.gif in my hand. The action was very similar. I played it exactly the same and I don't know how else you could possibly play it.

take my advice with a grain of salt as KQ seems to be one of my worst hands in PT.

preflop - raise is fine here I guess, although UTG I am not crazy about this hand. You took a stab at the pot on the flop, but you didn't get it, i'm ok with that play against only 2 opponents. You picked up a flush draw on the turn, but the King of hearts beats you. With the second nut flush draw your call wasn't awful, and your river fold was fine as all you could beat was a bluff.

You can play a hand fine and still fold the river.

The tone of this just strikes me as a little strange. Do you suggest folding the 2nd nut draw in a ~ 6 BB pot?

The part that bothered me most was the call/call on the turn. I know there are times when getting dragged along like that is right, but I just don't like when it happens.

I played this hand last night:

I was folding the river unimproved.

Hey man, I don't like the raise on this flop at all. I just think flops like this get 3bet way too often at 3/6 and you don't get a free card nearly enough. Also, if getting the button to fold something like A4 was an ulterior motive of yours, it won't happen very often either.

Why'd you raise the flop?

I don't mind the flop raise though I see your point.

I think this is just one of those hands where a good looking flop didn't draw out for you. You gotta play these or risk missing the one's that hit.
