I'm abugriffin. What do you guys think of my play here? I knew I didn't have much folding equity; in fact I thought I'd probably get those two to call and be in a four-way pot. But they were both relatively LAG and the fourth guy was very short-stacked. I figured there was a good chance I was against three guys with overcards, although of course, the more chips in the pot, the more likely someone's holding an overpair. This is a hand that I would normally throw away, but I've been thinking lately that maybe this is the type of situation that might be worth gambling in. I'm generally TAG.

What do you guys think?

Tim

i'd have folded. there's too good a chance that there's an overpair against you, which gives you poor odds. as it actually was:

7d 7h 182098 16.77 901834 83.04 2076 0.19 0.168
8s 8c 430332 39.63 653600 60.18 2076 0.19 0.397
Ad Jh 169935 15.65 886996 81.67 29077 2.68 0.169
Qd Ah 274566 25.28 782365 72.04 29077 2.68 0.266

17% equity when you need 25% is bad times.

you still have enough that you can steal. muck this and try to be the one open-raising with good position.

Auto-muck it no way you wanna risk a multi-way pot with 7-7 man no friggin way.

If it were folded to me in LP or the blinds I would consider pushing although it's a very close call. Given the MP calls I would definitely throw this away.
