View Full Version : Is the home opener a good bet?

For week 1, the home openers did well. This is probably some kind of well-known fact, but I'm not an experienced sports bettor.

Jets +2: loss

KC + 3: push

Min - 10: loss

GB -5.5 win

Cinc + 1 win

BUF + 2 loss

CLE + 4 win

DAL +9.5 win

JAX -3.5 win

BAL -10.5 win

Phil + 3 push

SF -3.5 loss

SD -2.5 win

TEN -6.5 loss

DEN -6.5 WIN

Total: 8-5-2, not bad.

Is it a viable strategy to bet down the line on home openers?

silly sports reports since mid 1980's...a team on the road week one and two then has home opener week three is a great bet against...like 37-11...only 1995 0-3 was disappointing...no idea how week off would affect...or if this is one of thos statistical plays that really is nothing...gl..congrats dad..gl
