You can just feel it in your bones, can't you? Mine was also my first. Now I must put aside the things of my childhood and become a man.

Sunrise, sunset.

And in both posts, villian bet and then folded the river. Weird.

sorry, I'm new to the forum.

What is a trifecta?

When you execute a check-raise on the flop, turn and river.

Don't be silly, of course not. It's impossible.

Limp-reraise preflop and go for the quinella.

Seriously, it's not routine for me but I think this would be a good time to limp re-raise pre-flop.

Nice hand. I've done two trifectas, and lost both. It's apparently very easy to check-raise when your opponent has the nuts and you hold the second nuts.

So neither of mine count, and I'm still waiting.

Haven't done the sims but I'm pretty sure that QJs has more than sufficient pot equity against the hands you're likely to be up against. Also, if the original raiser caps then either you're going to be playing a huge 5-way pot with an excellent multiway hand or there's going to be large amounts of dead money which is excellent.

This gets into the the whole pot equity versus implied odds issue, and I don't know which is more important.
