I took a look at my tracker database and out of 116 players with a VP$IP <28 and PFR > 12 I am the loosiest.(Minimum 250 hands) /images/graemlins/grin.gif 60% of the players with these numbers are winning players. This actually makes me feel better about my game as I figure based on this info, I must be running at least a little bit bad.

I know the best way to get better is to post hands and I want to thank all of you who have responded and are active on these forums. I spent 60K hands playing 2/4 and I really felt like I wasn't learning anything about the game. In my 6K hands at 5/10 I'm already a much better player than I was before. Blind defense, the relative value changes for big cards and suited connectors shorthand, blind steals, and player reads have all gotten better.

Guy posted recently about how the game puzzles him on occasion. Despite losing I feel pretty good about my hand reads and I'm not confused by plays at this level too often.

Here is to getting better and eventually winning my first dollar at 5/10.
