My roomate wants to start playing online, I suggested he sign up for Royal Vegas/Gaming Club/Pacific for the free no-deposit money. Is that going to be a problem if I already have accounts there (under my previous address), but used on our shared internet connection?

It is very likely the Prima sites will ask you for verification when you cash out...like sending them your a copy of your ID, birth certificate, sperm sample and urine sample of your first born (even if u don't have any).

pacific, party, pokerstars, absolute all do not care about shared internet connections. those are the only I have experience with.

edit: never tried playing on the same tables in case anyone wants to know.

Trust me, it doesn't work. I took their 10 dollars, made 120 and tried cashing out. They locked my account. Since I accidentally filled out my information incorrectly during signup, I just left the money and never went back. They will almost definitely lock your account.

As long as you are honest about it they seem OK. You WILL have to provide documentation to party and their related sites. I have exactly the same situation with my roommate who introduced me to poker.

In short, if you're honest and can provide the documentation there is no problem.

Well, I took the $10 and got it up to $80 and am trying to cash out. It is not too easy. I only made one account, no impropper scheningans.
I went to bank, cashout, check. Got an email that says
"

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE POKER ROOM RESERVES THE RIGHT TO PAY WINNINGS VIA CHECK AND, IN CASES WHERE YOU HAVE BEEN WITH THE CASINO FOR LESS THAN THREE MONTHS, THIS MAY BE THE PAYMENT METHOD UTILIZED."
The last line with the less than 3 months seemed interesting. I am not sure exactly what this means. Any help on how to make the cash out work, hopefully work quickly?

If you check the T&C's you'll see that you have to make some kind of deposit before you can withdrawl the original $10 or anything you mkae with that $10. I ran that $10 up to $1k but still had to put in $20 (minimum deposit) to get anything out. No problems after that though.
