Lazy crap monitor companies make a 17" or 19" LCD 1600x1200

Any reason why they cant make a smaller, cheaper one? They make 17 and 19 inch CRT's that go that high, so its not about things being too small on a small monitor.

Any "in the works"?

It just the difference in the technology between LCDs and CRTs.

The have 19" LCDs with 1600x1200.
