I've been on a tear in SNG's lately. I've been playing well, but my opponents have been idiots and I've been given easy decisions. I think I made the wrong one here.

The weak postflop bet signals a steal to me. I reraise ~250-300, fold to a push. If called, check-fold the turn if you don't improve.

But then again, what do I know...I'm just a mediocre $5.50 player trying to make it in the world.

There are two options here, call or raise.

You might want to call because you may not want to lose the other players, and you don't have top pair. AQ is legit hand to worry about. Perhaps you can catch your nut flush vs. their straight, or a lower flush, and bust two players.

Raising is perfectly good here, too. Semi-bluffing against four players can be dangerous, but you've got an awfully strong draw. Worst case you probably have 9 clean outs, best case 14.

I probably call and see if I can bring along the blinds.

I think sofere right here, but you really have two options...

(1) As sofere says...You have to at least make him pay if it is a steal with a 1/2 pot to 2/3 pot reraise, but let go right away if it is a push.

or

(2)He is making it very easy for you to draw to your flush and over cards. You have approx. 12.5 outs and he is laying you 1:8 pot odds so you can call and maybe get a few of the other players to come in behind...

Both of these are good plays...I think that I would pick (2) because it has a hugh return for minimum investment and is easy to get away from.

Hmm, I picked option one, although I'm wondering if option 2 might have been better. I made it 250, figuring I could at the very least buy a free card. MP1 pushed for his remaing 700 or so, and it was folded to me. I now have to call about 450 to win 1300 or so. Easy call, correct?
