View Full Version : KQ Offsuit Heads-Up
How strongly do you play a KQ offsuit when its down to two players in a No-Limit tourney. Do you use it mostly as a steal, or call any big raise with it. Any suggestions. I'm just asking because last night in a no-limit tournament down to two people KQ lost three times. Once to 6-6, 10-10 and A-2. Any thoughts?
KQ is a lot better than you're likely to get for a heads-up game, so it should rarely if ever be folded preflop. After the flop, it depends too much upon the opponent, the board, the actions to generalize.

KQ preflop in HU IMO is a blessing!!
But, like Greg said, HU is different game to what you were previously playing, its a lot more about the person than the cards. Even more so if its not a limit game. HU is where you need your reads on your opponent, even though KQ is a blessing!!
