What is the best site for O8B? A lot of sites I have been to have little to no Omaha action. Any suggestions?

Also, what is the appropriate bankroll for online O8B in relation to big bet size? (i.e. 100 - 1, 200 -1 ??)

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

The loosest site for small stakes O8 is Pacific Poker

If you know Omaha Hi/lo $20 ought to be enough /images/graemlins/cool.gif

Party poker and the skins always have lots of low limit games going. I would say 150 - 200 BB would be a reasonable amount.

The best site for any poker game is Party Poker.

If you dont mind "slow software", then the "loose" Pacific should be fine....

If ya want game selection, then its the Party skins hands down...no contest....

If ya want MTT, then its Stars and UB

Definitely Pacific. Your bankroll does not need to be big at all. 100 BB is huge if you know what you're doing (at the low limits anyway.) Plus your win rate will be huge compared to holdem. The only problem is that it can be a little boring just waiting for good cards.

OK, so it is sounding like Party and Pacific. And is it true what I have read, that the varience in O8B is lower than hold em, is that why some of you have suggested a smaller bankroll is needed? I have been averaging about 3BB an hour at Paradise, but there are virtually no games above 1-2. I want to play steady 3-6ish limits.

Yes that's exactly why a smaller bankroll is needed. Loose passive O8 games is like printing money.

Yeah, I have recently gotten more into O8 for that reason. So far, I have read Mike Cappelletti's book on O8, and Ken Warren's book on Omaha in general. Any suggestions on any further O8 reading? I ask because there is not much on O8 in bookstores compared to the shelves and shelves of (mostly worthless) hold em books.
