Yes, I like this play a lot with a blank on the turn(not bringing flush).

That looks fine. What do you do if the turn card is a diamond?

I think you're trying too hard to incorporate the stop n go. just 3-bet the flop

With your hand and this flop, I think a 3-bet on the flop is "safer" than a stop and go. Usually with the stop and go I want to get raised on the turn so I can 3-bet.

Ok, so I bet the turn and got raised, called down like the idiot I am and he showed me A-10.

Forget the fact that I called down, I know that was dumb. I'm more interested in my stop &amp; go line:

Should I routinely 3-bet these types of flops when holding a mid pocket pair?

Since many players like to raise/checkraise with flush draws, I agree that 3-betting the flop is a good play here. What if you then get 4-bet? Would you lay it down then?

Also, I assume that if you 3-bet the flop and lead out on the turn, you're folding to a raise, right?
