Party Poker 10+1 game. Level 1, blinds 15,10.
Its about the 4th hand of the game and I am in the big blind with KK. 6 people limp and the small blind completes. Should I go all in or raise to about 100? Or is there another better option than the ones I listed?
Thanks

3BB stamdard raise, plus 2BB for each limper, including SB. This is a 17BB raise, 17*15 = 255.

thanks,
for what its worth, I pushed hoping to just take what was on the table. Got called by A8 spades, guy caught a flush and left me with 120 chips. I went out a few hands later with 10,10.

in a 10+1, i would go all in, because someone with a weak hand, ie, A8, will call thinking you trying to steal. in a bigger game, 50+5 or larger, i would make it about 125, that should weed out the garbage.

I would raise 3 X BB plus the limpers (45+90=135).

Here's a good and relatively safer option, raise to about 150-175. Push or value bet any non A flop (depending on threat...if it's like J72 rainbow, you might better off betting to induce a bluff). If the A hits, bet again, and if you are called, just check-fold.

I like the all-in. Especially early in 10+1, you're going to get called by all kinds of crap, like A8s . . . sometimes more than one kind of crap. The last thing I want with KK is to play a flop against multiple callers. Isolate and take your chances. You're almost a 68% favorite in this hand. You got unlucky here (and again with TT), but I think you played it perfectly.
