I have a bonus pending at party. I was told the easiest way to make my bonus was to play 2-4, 3-6 limit ect. I've always played no limit and p/l Omaha on-line. I sat down the other night at a $100 n/l table and after I was done noticed my number of raked hands played didn't move. So I guess my question is, does number of raked hands played apply only to limit or maybe the higher limit n/l games? Thanks in advance.

It applies to both limit and nl and at all levels. Are you sure your bonus didn't expire?

The quickest and lowest risk way to clear a bonus is perhaps 6 max $25 nl.

Actually, on Party's website in your account information it will say what time of the day it gets updated. You can go into the "bonus chips for the party million" section and see the amount of raked hands you've actually played. Here is what mine shows:

[ QUOTE ]
You have to play 214 more Raked Hands by 12/22/2004, 23:59 hrs EST to qualify for the PartyPoker.com long-sleeved Polo Shirt.
Next status updated will be done on December 14 2004 00:00 hrs.

It applies to all raked hands, limit and NL.

It's actually easier at NL since the pot is raked at $2, so you have a higher percentage of hands played that are raked.

Fastest way to clear it is probably 4-tabling NL 25 6-max.

why is $25nl 6max the fastest? since it's only 6 players, do you reach the $2 min threshold to trigger a rake?

NL is fast as the rake starts with a smaller pot. NL 6max is even faster (typically) as more hands are dealt per hour.

I would use the NL $25 buy-in Ring games to clear the bonus. Blinds come around less often and about 80+ persenct of the hands get raked. May not be as fast getting the hand count as the 6-Max tables, but "required" pot contribution is less. Even if you never put money in the pot voluntarily, you should see a profit.

700 Hands = 70 laps around table = 70 Big blind and 70 Small blinds.
70 Big blilnds x $.50 = $35.00. 70 Small blinds x .$25 = $17.50.
$100.00 bonus - $35.00 - $17.50 = $47.50 profit.

^^ That is true about the full ring, but full ring on Party is a bunch of tightwads these days. In 6-max you get all the action junkies. Is it so wrong to make a killing while clearing the bonus? /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Where do you get 700 hands (20% $100 bonus on a $500 deposit)?
