Hi ,

I saw that PP has a new 5 step multy starts with 11$ and
ends with 1000$ buy in 5 step 2 table ( each step) tourney.

I tried it and found this very good money making method for good tourney players. i already made it 4 times into the 5'th step , mu initial buy in each time was 11$. I made some money ( twice 3'rd ). however want to hear other openions on this new tourney system...

It's OK, I'm kind of indifferent to it. I bought in about 10 times to the 3rd Step, so I spent $2000+rakes, and out of those 10 ended up with a 2nd place in Step 5. So I might a little under $3000, but the thing is sooooooo time consuming, I think I probably could have made more just 4 or 8-tabling $215 SNGs, which is my usual thing. Another plus is that a lot of the best SNG players are doing it, so it thins out the field when I do decide to play $215 SNGs.

this may have been asked before but i can't find it. say i make it to Step 5. can i cash out for $1065 or do i have to play? as someone who'd be starting at Step 1 for $10+1 I'd much rather have $1065 than a 4/20 chance (assuming no skill difference) at bigger money.

No you win a freeroll into a higher stage.

ok. because usually if you win a satellite you can just take the money.

This is what I did not like in this method.
you cant "BANK".

you MUST go on. for good and for bad ...

If they allowed people to take the money no one from step 1 would ever play step 5, this way ensures that you must play it through and will keep the step 5's populated, if it wasn't like this step 5's would just turn into pricey SNGs that may run 1 time a day (if that).

I mean this in no offensive way whatsoever, but I honestly just don't know how to word it differently:

If you're starting at Level 1, you will *not* have a 4/20 chance to cash in the Level 5. The play there is entirely different than steps 1-4. Again, I'm not trying to be an ass, but don't expect to cash 1/5 of the time there.
