It has been awhile since we had a "computer setup" thread. Plus I am sure there have been upgrades and such.

So what are you running for your internet poker setup?

I'll start:

Model: HP Media Center M470N
Processor: Pentium 4.0 3Ghz
Ram: 1.0 GB
Memory: 160GB
Video Card: Radeon 9600 XT 256MB
Mouse: Logitech MX Wireless
Keyboard: Logitech MX Wireless
Monitor 1: 21" Sony Multiscan E540 (CRT)
Monitor 2: 21" Dell 2001FP

I just upgraded to a standard DELL 8400 with 2 of the 2001FP monitors. IT cost about 1800 bucks with the wireless keyboard/mouse upgrade.

unfortunately I shorted one of the AC adapters by touching the svideo input on accident, luckily not the monitor, so i dont have both monitors setup yet, im hoping i dont have problems with that...

For Poker:

Cletis - Vaio 500MHz, 256k, 19" 1600x1200 CRT.
Epimetheus - eMachines 3GHz, 512k, 19" 1600x1200 CRT, 15" CRT.

For Poker Tracker, email, 2+2 and porn:

Ursula - Compaq 3GHz, 512, 19" LCD

I went pretty cheap on a lot of it, especially on the monitors. But they make life a lot easier.

Here, I took a picture with my calculator ...

Does a Radeon 9800 Pro support dual monitors?

Yes. But it is $250 right now.

Circuit city has the one Xtasy Radeon 9600 XT 256MB this week for $150 after a $20 rebate.

Does the same thing as the 9800 unless your running super sick 3D applications. Even then I don't think you would notice a difference.

"Unbranded" Pentium 200 mHz
Generic 15" CRT
33.6k dialup

Total investment: $12 (including cable)

Four tabling is a beeyotch, but it can be done (not that it's worth doing at microlimits)

I already have a Radeon 9800 Pro. I got it for $200 new a few months ago. 128MB version though, 256MB was unneccessary.

Bought for $2100 Cdn in December 1999

Model: A bunch of parts slapped together
Processor: Pentium 3 500MHz
Ram: 256 MB PC133 RAM (Which only runs at 100MHz)
Harddrive: 17GB+20GB
Video Card: Creative Labs Savage 4 32MB (Budget card even in 1999)
