Hmm, your 260lb QB comes up an inch short on second down. The ball is inside the opponent's 10 yard line.

Do you:

A - run your third down play.

or

B - challenge the spot.

Obviously you challenge /images/graemlins/confused.gif /images/graemlins/confused.gif /images/graemlins/confused.gif

I don't think you should call him a [censored] idiot. But hey, its not my team.

I think he just outdid himself with that Moss pass call.

WOW.

Wow wow wow wow wow. Game on the line. We have one of the best QBs in the league and THE best WR in the league, hey I have an idea, instead of having the QB throw it to the receiver lets have the reciever throw it. Ya that sounds fun. What a freakin genius.

No one wants to win this one. Both teams seem to have a deeply ingrained tradition of self-destruction. Last team to screw up loses.

Mike Holmgren isn't even getting upset at the screw-ups. He just shakes his head.

There could be a bright side to all this...

Now maybe when I get to go to my first Viking-Packer game on christmas eve the division will be on the line. Seeing Randy light it up against the Pack is going to be the best christmas present ever /images/graemlins/smile.gif

OK WTF, I only got to see about 2 plays of the whole game because I have been writing a paper. It seems like Seattle tried as hard as they possibly could to choke on the last drive but the Vikings are the absolute choke-masters. How does Culpepper not even get the ball in the air on the last play of the game!

The play was over before he ever got the ball in the air, they ruled.

What ever the Vikings have, the Packers caught it too. They don't seem to have any interest in playing football today. Down 13-0 at the half to the Lions /images/graemlins/confused.gif How embarassing.

The Seahawks are still on top of the NFC West.

The Seahwaks are on top of the NFC West....

comfortably too, the Rams lost.

I don't think 1 game is comfortable, especially when the Rams have that tiebreaker....

ThaSaltCracka

seeing how Chris Chandler is the qb and they have no RB right now, I would say its pretty comfy.

I agree. That was a really stupid decision. Hilarious the Vikings would lose to the Bears and Seahawks in consecutive weeks. The Packers just pulled one out. That's no good for Mr. Tice and his VIkings.

It could be good for the vikings but not mike tice. I think this increases the chances of him getting fired at the end of the season.

ThaSaltCracka

at the end of the year the seahawks should trade Holmgren for Randy Moss, straight up. Then Minnesota could fire Tice.

seems like a simple solution.

There's no way they take that deal. Unfortunately.

ThaSaltCracka
12-12-2004, 09:21 PM
maybe they would.
we could trade them the legendary Jerry Rice too.

Lol. yah and maybe we can convince them that robinson has enough upside to make them forget about all the balls he drops and throw him in as part of the deal too

trade Tice, Moss, Culpepper, and 8 million for John Gruden and a solid defense. /images/graemlins/confused.gif

Because we all know where the Bucs are now...right?

We should still make the playoffs if we can pull it together for 3 weeks...the game against the Pack is more important than ever. I'm wondering what we're going to do about that D....we can't keep getting new coordinators and new players and not have something eventually click. Keep Ted Cottrell, and spend the entire draft on defensive players. If I see one more WR get drafted by the Vikings, I will lose it.

He's got Culpepper playing confidently and the Vikings have had some bad luck with injuries. The Vikings defense hasn't been that good but not many are. Moss is the guy who screwed up as he should have pulled that ball down yesterday.
