I have a backer that is willing to back me, playing predominately $200 buy in NL side games. I think that we should start with a $3500 bankroll. What is the best way to split funds, and when?

Split all profits over 3500 whenever the roll gets over 3500. And if it gets below 3500 keep everything in the roll till it gets back to 3500?

Split all profit at the end of two weeks? end of month?

Ideally I would like to be compensated more than monthly but I want to make sure that there is enough to ride the ups n downs.

Any thoughts?

I don't know enough of the details of your
'arrangement', such as whether you have any
liability if the bankroll goes to zero.

If you go negative for a two week (or month)
period, do you have to build the roll back up
or does the backer replenish it?

In general, unless you have some responsibilty
for negative results, longer periods are more
fair to your backer (before splitting profits).

An alternative is to split the profits whenever
the bank gets to some number, like $5000.
