Dipping my toe into the $215s again. They usually fold on the flop in the $55s:)

Well, pre-flop, a raise is understandable. Although, I may be more inclined to just limp with AQ in such early position. However, since everyone except the blinds folded, the raise probably worked to your advantage. On the flop is where I think you should be worried. Both the blinds check and you bet more than what is in the pot. This is great if they fold, but when the BB check/called a huge bet like that, you should be very worried. I would put him on a set a lot of the time. There are some draws out there, but most people playing at the $215 level are probably not dumb enough to pay that much to draw. When the BB check/calls that huge bet, I would have shut down. When checked to on the turn, I would check right behind, hoping just to showdown for free. The bet at the river looks more like he's selling his hand than bluffing. I would most likely fold on the river. You're best case scenario is he has an ace with a Jack or Ten kicker, but I seriously doubt it. If this were at the 5, 10, or maybe 20 SNG level, I might not be as concerned. However at this level, you're probably beat. Save your chips for later on. Just my opinion - I could be wrong.

This hand I think you played fine on the flop and turn. On the river I really do not think you can beat anything except a bluff and the only hand that calls the flop that isnt beating you is the flush draw or perhaps a worse ace. Obviously this is a bad call by a flush draw so this is player dependant. If this player would call with a flush draw here then I would call the river, if not I fold.

On second thought some players may put up a blocking bet of 300 with a weak ace on the river so that you wont bet big so I guess you beat that too, but I cant imagine that that would be too likely here, im guessing you saw a set or 34o for the wheel when you called.

This is part of the reason you don't raise AQ preflop in the early rounds. You put your stack in jeopardy with one pair.

I'd have limped preflop.... but given the raise, I'd bet less on the flop - probably 200. Not that it makes that much difference. On the turn it looks to me like BB's drawing, so I'd go allin. (Which would be a disaster of course, but if people are going to go around flopping the wheel I don't see what I'm supposed to do about it).
