was I too aggressive here? I had been picking up these little pots with ragged flops, was this flop too draw-heavy for anything besides a check-fold?

First off I wouldn't be playing JT in early position at all! Because if you get raised all in or any decent size raise what are you going to do? Fold I would Hope! Your bet on the flop was way out of line! What were you hoping for runner runner meaning 78 for the straight? Not likely! I would guess UTG had A 10 and didn't make his flush and called your bet on the flop because he figured you didn't make anything either and he figured he might still have the best hand. So your fold on the turn was good but I don't think that you should have even been in the hand to begin with!

Just my 2 zinc cents worth.

Well the converter screwed up but I raised it to .14 preflop, so my flop bet was pot sized. I wasn't really thinking. I bet the flop hoping to win it right there, but I didn't even look at all the possible draws.

If you don't already have it get SSHM and read it! Small Stakes Hold'em! I think you need better starting hands! =) This will help you BIG TIME!!!

You are in the right place! Lots of good players here and most of them are willing to help if they think you have done your part! Meaning educating yourself! "Reading" Then practice, practice, practice /images/graemlins/grin.gif
