Commerce $200 Max NL 2/3 blinds

I start the hand w/ about $300.

I am in the CO w/ 7 /images/graemlins/spade.gif8 /images/graemlins/spade.gif.

2 loose limpers from MP limp, tricky-laggish (~$320) (but not the overbet type of lag, just the bet-when-checked-to kind of lag) makes it $10, I call, BB calls, limpers call.

5 players to the flop. ($52) The other players have stacks from $50 - $200

Flop A /images/graemlins/spade.gifK /images/graemlins/diamond.gif2 /images/graemlins/spade.gif

checked to tricky-lag and he bets $20. I call. BB calls, others fold.

Turn ($112) 5 /images/graemlins/club.gif

checked to lag, he bets $40. I call, BB folds.

River ($192): 3 /images/graemlins/spade.gif

He bets out $80. I push my remaining $220ish.

thoughts.

damn right push. if you are beat, you are beat. 1/2 the reason you played that hand was to get a flush.

of course i'm pushing the river, i was more concerned with the other streets, especially calling w/ a draw that needs implied odds and not closing the action.

Calling on the flop is fine- you got decent pot odds, if others come in you have even better pot odds. If someone else after you raises the pot, the odds are the LAG will call and you will still get correct pot odds. The turn is also an easy call, 40 to win 130 is decent odds to try and catch that flush. Also with his betting, if something else comes out on river, you may be able to raise him out at river.

From this guy's play, looks like he has K or a flush draw.
