/Here's a doozie;

Foxweed NL tournament. two tables left, and i have about 8500. blinds are 200-400, and i pick up QQ in the cutoff. two limpers, and I make it 1600. and BB has about 14K and moves all in. I was able to rule out small pairs, but as there were many other shortstacks at the table, i decided to fold, to help insure my placing into the money. Anyone would have called? why? why not?

my main concern here was to get to the money first, then play hard to win. 10th got roughly 120, etc...1st got roughly 2300.

Folding was the best play by far!!

I would fold unless there is some history of this player making this type of move with something less then ak/aa/kk.

Did the guy doing it have fossils in front of him /images/smile.gif

I always look for fossils but have yet to see them. I plan to humiliate him by cracking whatever hand he has. : )
