View Full Version : Dell Monitor Problem - Multitabling

I recently purchased a Dell 2005 FPW 20.1 Wide Aspect Flat Panel LCD primarily so I could play 4 tables w/ out overlap. When I ordered the computer a couple weeks ago it said max resolution on the monitor was 1900/1200 (and the 20.1s were the only flat panels that went this high). My video card is a 128MB PCI Express x16 - ATI Radeon x300 SE.
When I try to adjust the monitor it usually says max resolution is something like 1560/1060 which leaves some overlap. Occasionally (and I have no idea why this would be the case) it allows me to go up to 1900/1200 but when I do this the desktop extends way beyond the monitor (I'm sure there is a technical term for this).

Do any of you computer wizzards have any suggestions on what I need to do? Did I order the wrong monitor?? I spent more than I wanted to specifically to be able to 4 table so this is troubling.

Thank in advance.

i've always seen it listed as 1560/1060 which would mean 4 tables would have some overlap. which is why i think the 2001fps are better for multitabling poker players. if it would have been 1900x1200 i might have been somewhat pissed after i ordered my 20001fps and then those came out for basically the same price. but since they didn't do a resolution that would meet my needs...meh.
