Last year I played over the middle weekend. I like both Stud & Stud Hi/Lo, but did not enjoy the mixed event. The two games did not seem to 'flow' together well. I heard quite a few comments along this line.
I believe the event should be Stud8 only. Having Stud8 events on both Thur & Mon may seem odd, but I believe that it would attract more L.A. players for the weekend, as Stud8 is quite popular there.
I also think the women's event should be held on Sunday, the same day as the PLHE, rather than Monday, the same day as the Stud8. Far more women play Stud8 than PLHE and I heard MANY complaints from women upset that they could not play both events.
What does everyone else think?
