saw flop|<font color="#C00000">saw showdown</font>

Button (t625)
SB (t2405)
BB (t3370)
Hero (t1940)
MP (t4555)
CO (t605)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 6/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 3/images/graemlins/diamond.gif.
Hero folds, MP folds, CO calls t100, Button folds, SB completes, BB checks.

Flop: (t300) 7/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 5/images/graemlins/heart.gif, A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">BB bets t100</font>, CO calls t100, SB folds.

Turn: (t500) 6/images/graemlins/diamond.gif <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">BB bets t400</font>, CO calls t400.

River: (t1300) J/images/graemlins/heart.gif <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
BB folds.

Final Pot: t1300

CO had 5 chips left when BB folded. both had roanoke as their locations too... pretty obvious and pretty dumb hope PS gives me my money back.

Hahaha, on partypoker they might have gotten a verbal warning. At least you were on poker stars where they will do something about it. Did BB or the shortstack (or both) place in the tourney?

ironically enough both horrible players managed to get 2nd and 3rd. pretty sad obviously colluding and not being able to win lol

Do us a favor and post how PS handles this... I just want further examples of why one should never play at party (I just love their customer service)

Thanks

This is clearly chip dumping.

Thank you for your report. The integrity of our games is of upmost
importance to us, and when confronted with such suspicions, we have one of
our poker specialists undertake extensive research into the players'
relationships and past play.

Please allow us some time to research this matter; it may take several days
if the matter is particularly complex. We will be back to you as soon as
possible with the results of our examination.

Narindar...

Has Poker Stars outsourced their jobs as well? Where is this country heading? I bet she's from India.

I suspect you are just joking... but what country do you think that PokerStars! is located in? /images/graemlins/wink.gif

Where are Party Poker and Poker Stars located by the way?

This is not THAT odd.

I mean, betting a moderate hand and then open-folding the river.

I see this a couple times a month. (The "open-fold" that is)

The main datacenter servers are located in the Caribbean. The "administration" offices? I have no idea, but I'd guess its all VPN stuff from Europe and the States.

I too periodically see an open fold, but never when the opponent has 5 chips.

Thank you for your email; just to update you, I have reviewed the two
players in question and I did see some unusual play. I have frozen both
players accounts and contacted them regarding this matter. Once they
respond, we will complete our review and contact you with the results.

Thank you for your patience while we completed our investigation. We have
found these two players guilty of collusion and disqualified them from this
tournament, and barred them from future play on our site.

As a result of their disqualifications, we have advanced the other players
in this event accordingly; as a result you have moved from 6th place to 4th
place. Unfortunately however, there is no cash prize for 4th.

We do appreciate your assistance in keeping our games free of any kind of
collusion.

MissOt, wanted to thank you for your diligence in following up with this post.

It's also refreshing to hear of "evildoers" (I love Bush) being "brought to justice."

Did we ever find out if PokerStars outsources customer service to India?

They do not. PokerStars HQ is in Costa Rica (link (http://www.pokerstars.com/aboutus.html)); I always assumed that most of the CSRs were located there but the careers page (http://www.pokerstars.com/PScareer.html#PSS) mentions a new office in England.

I assume that the servers are still located on the Kahnawake IR near Montreal.
