say in a ring game stacks are as follows:
Hero : $3000
P1: $4000
P2: $500
P3: $500
and so on to make it full
it is EV to call a 500$ raise from P1 with 22 because you know that you won't flop sets enough to justify calling for 1/6 of your stack. hence making this a -ev move.
but how about in a SnG?
what if he raises 500 and you have 22? and say you know he has AA. I think you should call this raise because
1) Chips dont equal money, you gain money as long as you make it ITM
2) if you stack him with a set, you are in now a big favor for 1st place
3) even if you don't hit, you can probably cruise your way to ITM because you have enough left over
is this theory flawed?
thanks
