Professional Gambling: Travaling around Reno and Las Vegas playing various casino games. I like poker alot but sometimes its not "gambly" enough for me. I'm sort of undecided, what do you think?

You know that you can't really win long-run playing most casino games, right?

Go for it!

I suggest reading, "Gambling for a Living." It'll tell you what you can gamble on and win, and what you can't. There's more to winning money by gambling than just poker. Sports Betting, Blackjack (if you count cards), etc.

I absolutely think you should do this ASAP.

I've been sitting here reading these posts and trying to figure out one good reason not to become a professional gambler. I'll let you know when it comes to me.

Try only looking at one of your hole cards when playing. When that loses its appeal, try playing blind.

Also, as a precautionary measure, get as many credit cards (preferably with high cash advance limits) as you possibly can before starting your new career.

So are you trying to say you're looking for a way to make a living with less chance of succeeding? Interesting. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I say go for it. I've always wanted to be a professional craps player, I will envy you.
