LAGgy Sir Lagsalot is at 41% VPIP, 15% PFR and has a 1.58 post-flop agg factor after 46 hands, although he has been complaining about the guy on his right (who has a VPIP of 91%) -- so it would appear he has some concept of tossing trash hands.

This felt extremely standard now, but just a month ago I probably would have bet out on this flop instead. As I begin to feel comfortable in my knowledge of when to check-raise, I want to post a few check-raises that I consider "standard" to see if they actually are.

I would check-raise as well.

There are only two options - raise or fold. By raising you are not trying to punish the LAG, but trying to protect your hand from overcards the players acting after you can hold. You are trying to make them fold.

The reasons for raising are actually both. You want them to fold but you also want to isolate Mr. Raisey McRaise and jack the pot from this bluffing LAGness.
