View Full Version : too good to be true

I heard that a friend of a friend was cleaning up on internet casinos by taking advantage of initial deposit offers. He would take advantage of several different casino's that offered such bonuses, and keeps setting up new internet accounts to establish new id's.

So I thought I would look into it. The first internet casino that I found was called something like "windows casino". They offer a 20% bonus on you initial deposit. And for existing customers a 20% bonus if you deposit using western union. The conditions are that your maximum bonus is $200, and you have to bet 4 times your bonus before you collect. But they have low margin games including blackjack and video poker.

All of this is according to their website. It sounds too good to be true. If it were true, then I would exect that the readers of this forum alone would be enough to have burned out this opportunity.

Does anyone know anything about this? Are the games rigged, do winners get paid? what am I missing?

There are some good deals with e-casino bonuses. The smart player can make some decent money, but there are many pitfalls. Some places are slow to pay. Some have cheating software. The games can suck you in. Sometimes they just decide not to pay you. You have to know what you're doing.

By the way, Windows Casino has a bad reputation. Stay away from that particular one.

To find out about places and their reputations, I recommend visiting www.bj21.com, www.GameMasterOnline.com, and www.OnlinePlayersAssociation.com. I would recommend not putting money into any e-casino until you ask on one of the message boards on those websites about the casino you are interested in.

Best casinos often are ones that are tied into reliable sports books as listed on www.theprescription.com. Truth is there are really only 5 or 6 casinos per se, they have different names on them but the software is one of a small number of choices that offshore ventures use. A lot of people are sure the software is rigged, but the reality is that very very few do that. Casino games online are unbeatable, the only way anyone does it is to take advantages of promotions like the one you saw. They are betting you become a regular customer. If you are someone that just plays enough to get a bonus and you do it at a couple of places, your name gets passed around and books will reject your application. If you play 4 times your bonus the books are figuring close to 8% will be lost by you so they are willing to take the chance you stick around even longer.

Why do they have a bad rep? Is it believed that the games are not honest? Are they slow payers? non-payers?

Windows Casino has a reputation of telling winning players that they are on a blacklist and then they confiscate the player's winnings. What they don't tell you is that they actually placed you on the blacklist themselves. Why did they place you on the blacklist, you ask? The reason: you're a winning player.

Get it? :-)
