My 20 month old daughter answered "yes" to a question yesterday! (Technically, she has answered "yes" to the question "Can you say 'yes?'" before, but if you ask her "can you say '<X>?'" she will answer '<X>' unless she can't, or just doesn't feel like it, which is often.)
