Tim: Hi we have just started playing poker online. Could we get a couple good book recommendations for beginners. I play limit $1/2 and he plays NL $0.25/.50.

Joe: Thank you, and we haven't played any yet but would like to play in tournements at some point as well.

Assuming Hold'em is your game, below are some fair to very good basic books.

Tim: Winning Low Limit Hold'em, Internet Texas Hold'em, and Ed Miller's upcoming book

Joe: No-Limit Texas Hold'em (Daugherty and McEvoy)

Me: This is wierd.
