pick something related to POKER so you'll have the motivation to write it. i.e., how does the body (or is it mind?) suppresses physiological reactions? i mean, when you get pocket AA pre-flop...how can some people prevent the sweating, nervousness or even the fast pumping of their heart so as to HIDE their monster hands? check out psychosomatic reactions or something like that. it has something to do with systemic reactions or something too i forget...it has been 5 years afterall. /images/graemlins/smile.gif anyway, you can even use google to find your reference. Make sure you describe the pathways of reactions.
Example:
1. Your eyes sees your monster hands.
2. Your brain starts calculating how much to bet (use NL as an example), taking into account your position and how many callers you want in.
3. At the same time, a part of your brain sends a signal that will suppress some physiological function to HIDE you excitement/fear or whatever you're feeling.
4. Map the reaction pathways. Make sure you name the nerves, blood vessels and the organs involved in the reaction.

tada, you have a paper!!! (and you only need 5 pages? it will take 2 pages alone just to describe the organs, blood vessels and nerves involved. hehe)

Use this power point

Turn this into a paper, and you are done. No reading, just video. Very important information as well, your teacher will be impressed.
