stock and gambling system

Hello, I want to ask everyone about a system I read about but cannot find now that is for the stock market and gambling. it goes something like this, investing or betting a percentage of your bankroll, ie 20% or 10% as your bankroll goes up or down. Ideas please.

Not sure if this is what you are looking for, the "Kelly Criterion"? Not sure how you get 10% or 20% from that though, unless that's the average rate the market has gone up in the past that you're assuming is your "edge". - Tony
