View Full Version : Ruling at the Orleans

My friend was in the following hand.

Final board had two pair (details irrelevant) - he held KQ and tried to bluff the pot. His opponent (inexplicably) called all in.

My friend showed and his opponent says "your kicker got me". He shows KJ then throws them into the muck.

The dealer mucks the board and pushes the pot to my friend. His opponenet has left his seat and the dealer is pratically shuffling when someone says "hang on that was a split pot".

Other players agree - the dealer doesnt commit - the floor is called and the pot is retroactively chopped up.

Obviously cards should speak but when is a hand over? Surely once the board has been mucked its just one players word against anothers?

What does everyone think?
