Food items/snacks and cereals that are now gone.

I have three:

Hostess Choco Bliss snackcakes
Kelloggs Bigg Mixx Cereal

and Kudos bars.

Thoughts?

Good to know about Kudos...

Choco Bliss was this awesome snackcake in the twinkie vein, but chocalate, with thick chocalte cream, chocalate Icing and Chocalate Chips on top. It was around in like 88-92 when I was still bringing lunch to school.

Big Mixx was a Kelloggs cereal that was pretty much a mix of all there brands coated in brown sugar. It was awesome.

The Western Wopper is another one I just remembered.

There was a granola bar that rivaled Kudos...it came in a brown box/brown wrapping, had chocolate and peanut butter mixed in...My mom put them in my lunch in elementary school, I hated 'em but I was usually able to trade them for enough money to buy a cap'n crunch ice cream. One thing about the Bell is that each location can be totally different. They are not held to certain rules that other franchises are.

I haven't seen a Mexican Pizza in the tri-state area in years, but I know theres some taco bell, somewhere thats dishing them out.

"Kelloggs Bigg Mixx Cereal"

Holy Sh*T. When this stuff was taken out of production they were selling it for 6 boxes for 5 bucks or something ridiculously cheap for cereal, and my mom bough ssomething like 40 boxes of it.
At first it was great, but i think the last couple of boxes just sat there untill it was thrown away.

You just reminded me of Pixie Stix - the first candy I ever heard of getting banned because kids were doing lines of it off their desks. Messed up.

Nothing like a paper straw full of sugar to teach kids how to do coke, I guess. Not like it mattered, the stuff was hell on getting kids wired no matter how they consumed it.

Taco Bell Cinnamon Crispas.

[/ QUOTE ]

This ends the discussion for great discontinued fast food. I can't even eat the Cinnamon Twist things they have now.

For fast food Taco Bell has a lot of great discontinued items. The old-style Enchirito with a black olive on it is another honorable mention. They're saving like 1/100 of a cent by not having that anymore, though, so it's a great business decision.

One of my old favorites was a cereal: C3PO's. I can't describe the taste, but it was my favorite cereal for the year or so it was out.

Oh, and actually, the Chicken Ceasar Pitas they had at Wendy's were awesome. I barely go there anymore.

Oh, that mozzarella/tomato sauce (I think it was called the Italian something) Chicken Sandwich at Burger King was pretty good as well. They bring that back for a couple weeks at a time, though.

Other foods I don't think have been mentioned yet:

-Yellow- Tootsie Pops
Switzer Licorice (I think Twizzler bought them out and canned the best type of licorice)
Striped Dainties (a cookie with chocolate stripes on it - no it doesn't taste the same as all the other ones that are the same basic idea)

The best is the DairyQueen Frozen Hot Chocolate. Most stopped carrying them a long time ago but there was one near me that would still make it. Now that the Moolate came out they wont make it for me /images/graemlins/frown.gif

It was soo good. Its made with IceCream, Misty Ice, and HotFudge and then mixed with the blizzard machine.
It was so good, and it was cheap compared to other DQ desserts.
I dont know why they wont make it for me anymore, its not that they dont have the ingredients.
Next time any of you go to a dairyqueen try to convince them to make you one. I think youll like it.

Dang, now I really want one. I guess I will have to look into Mr.Misty and Blizzard machines on eBay.

This will depend on what part of the country you are in. If you live in a place where the choices in MX food consist of On the Border and Taco Bell, I'd agree. But I've had many fine Mexican food meals here in AZ. I'm sure the situation is similar in CA, NM & TX.

I personally miss the McRib. Lips & A-holes I'm sure, but a nice alternative to a burger when you don't have time for anything but fast food.
